What a great time we had in South Dakota. It went way too fast. I didn't have enough time with the aunts, but I never do during the reunions.
Unofficially, it seems Waterloo will be the location for the 2011 gathering.
For the first time, those of us on Facebook are able to share the photos we took. It's been fantastic. Jean Zikuda, Lynne Karsh and Jean McKee have posted pictures. I can't figure out how to get a link to their galleries, though. But here's a link to our travel pics. I'm still working on the reunion ones.

Zikuda Reunion 2009 - Update
Here's the info in Nancy's latest email:
Greetings Zikuda Family and friends!
Attached (see below) are some of the basics about the 2009 South Dakota Zikuda Family Reunion. We have reserved 10 rooms and an outdoor pavilion for Saturday, June 27, 2009. The group rate on the rooms runs about $130 per night. We will be sending out additional info about the facilities in our Christmas cards. Additionally, there is a Super 8 Motel right next door for anyone hoping to save a few bucks per night. I believe those rooms start at $100 per night.
Aunt Pat and Steve will host a WELCOME 'Open House' on Friday night, June 26 at their house. More details to follow on that as well.
We sent in a deposit to hold the rooms and facility for the dates needed. When reserving a room, make sure you mention it is part of the ZIKUDA FAMILY REUNION.
My mailing list is limited so I hope someone can post this on the Zikuda website and PLEASE forward this to any of your family members that are not in my list. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing you all in South Dakota!!
